[comp.sys.ibm.pc] Need suggestions on a backup hardcard

Greetings, everyone!


   Now I'm considering buying a second, backup hardcard.  Which means I
can tolorate the slowness but it must be reliable and prefereably not

expensive.  From a recent (not the current) BYTE magzine, I found the
following:

    company    card     storage, accs time model
  Leprecard:             32MB,     48ms
    S-100:   Miniscribe  30Mb
  HardDrives CardDrive   30MB      68ms   30-8438
                         40MB      46ms   40-8450
  CampuSave  Miniscribe  30MB
Adv'd Computer Prods     30MB

  Does anyone have any experiences with these cards and companies or have
some better suggetions?
