A friend told me that the missile they put Spock in was marked Mark VI (I missed that). If so, does anyone know the significance? Also I have heard that ST-III will be called "In Search Of Spock" and will definitely have Nimoy in it. Anyone else heard about this sequel yet? Kit Kimes Western Electric Co. Yes, ST III is planned. Yes, it will be called Search for Spock. I think Nimoy signed up for this one (he was offered a contract, that i know.) The producer plans to try to put out at least one 'episode' a year. Whew!

The title of StarTrek III is not necessarily going to be called "Search for Spock". This title appeared in a Star Ledger article a few weeks ago but only as a pun, in reference to Leonard Nimoy's TV show called "In Search Of". Besides, in the movie, there is no consideration at all given to his chance of surviving---this is not logical. My most recent information tells me that all characters of II are signed up for III except for Nimoy and Savik. The woman who plays Savik is from Kansas and has only been in Holleywood for 18 months. She is currently being asked to sign contracts with Warner. Nimoy has recently indicated that he was originally not going to return to Star Trek but outcrys against this has led him to reconsider. This last bit came from a NYC radio program dated 7/9/82. Any comments??? signed pnb. (in care of rrb)

I must protest the denigration of the actress who played Saavik. Being a Kansas native, I resent the implication that the fact that she is from Kansas has anything to do with her not signing for ST III yet. Certainly the fact that she has only been in Hwood for 18 months is much more significant. Dave
