One of the lines > said "25 mhz system board (20 Mhz CPU)". ========= The same thing happened to me with SAI technology a mail order firm from Connecticut. But they did not bother telling me that they were pushing the chip !!! I bought a 12 Mhz portable (Sharp type with LCD screen) 0 wait states from them this summer. Yesterday i open it to put in a 80287. What do i see ? THE PROCESSOR IS AN 80286-10 !!!! They make it clock at 12 Mhz. Either they do it knowingly or they messed up. I did notice that the SI was running 13.2 instead of 13.7 on my desktop. I don't know if this is the reason why or just that the baby-board is not designed as well as my desktop board (Compu-add). Anyway i am going to call them and report what they have to say about that. I did pay a premium for 12 over 10 Mhz. Eric

I made sure when I bought my system, I opened the case and checked the chip markings on the CPU.
