Check it out... Roger Waters first solo album. I like it. It sounds a lot (obviously) like later PF ("The Wall", "The Final Cut"). The lyrics are typical of Waters (dark, cynical). Eric Clapton is perfect (and a surprise) as his lead guitarist. It is an interesting combination of completely different styles. Some of the other musicians on the album also appeared on "The Final Cut". It definitely can be compared with "The Final Cut"; Roger Waters 'other' solo album. I liked "The Final Cut", although apparently it didn't sell as well as other Floyd albums have. I've heard that Waters is planning some concerts (VERY sparingly, as with "The Wall"), and has said that the stage show will be every bit as elaborate as "The Wall". Does anyone know more about this ? Adios for now... James Walter Reid P.S. David Gilmours album is also very good (I'm apparently a die hard Pink Floyd fan). I hear that he too is planning a tour. It appears that there is life after Floyd.
