Does anyone know how to have WP 5.0 to output a postscript file. There seems to be no information on this whatsoever after leafing through the books in book stores! Then print the document from the screen (Shift-F7, F). Then you should go back an change the port. Hope this helps. Mark markxx@garnet.berkeley.edu

Select print (Shift F7), then "s" to select printer. Highlight Apple Laserwriter, and hit "e" to edit. Choose the output port (probably "o") and it'll give a a selection of LPT's and COM's. Choose "Other", and type in a filename (I use \tmp\out.ps). From then, all printing when use use the laserwriter will be printed to \tmp\out.ps. -- Robert W. Select your postscript printer, and where it asks you for the "port" i.e. lpt1, lpt2, com1, com2 etc.., choose "other" and specify a filename for the program to use. WP 5.0 will store the postscript output into this file. Venu P. Gopal UUCP: ..!att!ihuxy!vgopal Internet: vgopal@ihuxy.att.com

What it does NOT do, and would be very handy if it did, is output an Encapsulated PostScript file. Does anybody have any hints/suggestions on this? -- ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ gandalf!oheare or maybe oheare@gandalf.UUCP or else +1 613 723 6500 ext 8407 "There's plenty of room," said Alice, sitting down in a large disclaimer at the head of the table.
