[comp.sys.ibm.pc] Problems with NEC Multisync GS Monitor

Has anyone experienced any problems with a NEC Multisync GS monitors screen
going blank?  Cycling the power clears up the problem, but what causes it?

If anyone has seen this and knows how to fix it, I'd appreciate your sharing
the information.
