I've got a Model 16 with dual eight-inch floppy drives and an external 8MB (eight megabyte) hard drive. The hard drive is about the size of a mobile home but at least does the job. Also in the system is a Radio Shack Daisy Wheel II business printer. The sole purpose for this machine for the next year will be word processing (preparing a dissertation on it!). This is just the kind of workhorse job the Model II/12/16 was made for. The SCRIPSIT program is a nice and easy-to-use full-featured word processor. This frees up my 286/20 AT for other more important things (LSL2, Flight Simulator, etc.). ___________________________________________________________________ _________ / Marcus Clenney ___ ___ /___ ___/ ________ / U. of Central Florida / | / | / / / ______/ / Dept. of Computer Science / /| | / /| | / / / / / Orlando, FL 32816 / / | |/ / | | / / / /_____ / wordproc@ucf-cs.ucf.edu /_/ |___/ |_| /_/ /_______/ / ____________________________________________________________/
