Has anybody tried to use AutoCad with more than two (2) different hardcopy peripherals (ie. printers / plotters ) during one "session" ? My problem : I need printouts for Epson FX-100 in A4 and A3 sizes, Postscript device (file), HP 7475A (HPGL file) and ADI device (file). All these should be selectable inside AutoCad. I have tried to copy acad.cfg, acadpp.ovl and acadpl.ovl in shell but it causes a crash immediately when plotting is selected. I already know that copying acad.cfg during one "session" is possible as long as the printer / plotter won`t change ie. the overlays are the same. It`s possible to build a system where one can select printers / plotters before starting AutoCad but it doesn`t help since this selection is being made inside AutoCad. If anybody has any good idea, please, share `em with. I`d like to know if this is possible at all. If this proves to be impossible and if someone from Autodesk reads this, could you please forward this plea so that some future version might include more flexible handling of hardcopy devices.
