---- I have a 20 000 lines of cobol code written for 1982 version of Ryan McFarlan Cobol for MS-DOS. I have to make some changes to the code and would like to know which Cobol compiler is best for MS-DOS In my opinion the compiler should generate code for "ACCEPT XYZ" where XYZ is PIC X(5) field, that allows the user to use arrow keys, insert key and delete key, while entering information in this 5 character field. Please tell me about your experiance with cobol in the MS-DOS world. Thank you, Kjartan R. Gudmundsson

I realize that this question has been asked before, but I don't recall seeing any responses to it. Are there any good public domain or shareware Cobol compilers around for MS-Dos environment? If not, any recommendations for an off the shelf product? Thanks. Pete -- Peter P. Donohue ppd491@albny1vx.bitnet . "Education is a journey, ppd491@leah.albany.edu . not a destination..."
