[comp.sys.ibm.pc] NEAT CHIP SET -- 384k missing region

Couple days ago, I saw a postion mentioning about how NEAT chips set handles
2 meg memory. It simply disables the portion of memory between 640k and 1M.
You can still use that portion of memory for shadow memory though. But I
just don't see the different whether I set the shadow memory for BIOS and
VIDEO memory. What I want is to really USE the 384k memory that I PAID for.
Someone mentioned that one can set the NEAT register to regain the memory.
Is there a program to do that? Could someone tell me how to do it?
