I am thinking about getting a Perstore harddisk controller. It uses "ADRT" to get 190% of MFM capacity. Has anyone actually tried it? Any answers for: - compatibility with motherboards, BIOS, bus-speed, ... - compatibility with MFM & RLL drives - compatibility with DOS 3.3 & 4.0 - compatibility with Disk-manager, Speedstore, ... - compatibility with SpinRite, ... - compatibility with Norton, PC Tools, ... - actual performance, (even Norton, CoreTest, ...) - documenation - support - specific model information [I know all about MFM (Modified Frequency Modulation), RLL (Run Length Limited) and even what RLL 2,7 means. I know Perstore is using a more compact RLL, I am looking for actual operation experience.] Please e-mail. I will post a summary.
