Does anyone know of a remote disk program that will let us access a WORM drive on another machine (about 200 miles away) as if it were a local drive? The data is constantly being updated, and the only alternative is to physically ship the disk back and forth every day. We have a 19.2Kbps link we can use, and speed is not critical. We just need to be able to view files. Basically, we need a looooooong, thin LAN. :-) Is this easy to do? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Joe Loughry Araphahoe Library District | | loughry@tramp.colorado.edu -/- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Re: Accessing really remote disks This is off the top of my head, but have you looked at a product like PC/NFS with the SLIP protocol?
