Hello. A FRIEND of mines currently owns a IBM PC.. THE original PC!.. and he successfully added a 20 meg harddrive into it. But now he wants to add a Logitech mouse AND a Hayes Compatable 2400 baud Modem. Is this possible? The guy at a certain computer store says NO. and that he has to buy a AT or XT at least. Any suggestions?? Second question: My BROTHER has a IBM PCjr with a 5 1/4 drive in it. Someone gave him two extra 5 1/4 drives that were supposed to be able to be added to his jr. But where would he put it? Is there an extra slot to put in the controller card for the extra drive? Third BONUS question (for the beautiful trip to HAWAII!!) I currently have a IBM model 30.. with a 3.5 drive. I was wondering if SOMEHOW, I could hookup that extra 5.25 drive made for the PCjr to MY computer? ANY HELP IS EXTREMELY APPRECIATED. Aloha and Mahalo from Sunny HAWAII! Re Model 30 with 3.5 drive and PCjr 5.25 drive - Depends on which Model 30 you have - I have the 30 - 286 and when I wanted a 5.25 external I had to buy one a 1.2 meg drive as the 360 was not compatible with the 286. So - depends...... Keep the sun shining - I'll be in Hawaii in two weeks!! and it's -12 C here right now.
