gpitcher@edpmgt.UUCP (Glenn Pitcher) (12/03/89)
I am attempting to write a program that will allow me to access a 16 sector
160 track soft sectored 5 1/4" disk. The DOS Bios routines that I'm using
(Function 44H) always return the information block in the form of a far
pointer DS:DX and I'm having a real hard time accessing the data.
Does anyone out there know of some code that I may be able to use that will
reformat the controller so I can read this disk?
I'm real tired of beating my head against the wall and besides, I'm getting
a bad headache!!
(please e-mail responses to me, I don't read this group much)
Thanks,
