I am having trouble with reading 1.2MB floppies and especially 360KB floppies on a Sperry IT computer.. The system is a 80286-8MHZ with an embedded floppy controller on the motherboard. The problem is random and usually occurs when large files are being copied from diskette to the hard disk. I have tried a new disk drive with the same results thus the problem looks to be with the floppy controller on the motherboard itself. If anyone has any ideas on how to fix this problem or even how to disable the floppy controller on the motherboard in favor of an adapter card then please let me know. Thanks in advance. Harold
