[comp.sys.ibm.pc] Foreign Language Fonts

benderly@cs.columbia.edu (Dan Benderly) (11/29/89)

I am looking for both EGA/VGA screen & HP Laserjet printer fonts for a
number of foreign languages -- two in particular -- Korean and Hebrew.
I know that these exist for Greek, as a friend of mine has them. He
is able to load the greek fonts into his VGA card & use them in a
standard word processor, such as Word. He also has printer soft
fonts, and drivers for Word, with which he can print out the Greek
fonts. I am looking for something like that in the previously
mentioned two languages. If anyone can give me pointers to such
things, I would much appreciate it.

Thanks!!

Dan

IBM markets Hebrew language support that will work for DOS 3.3 and
VGA screens. (Version 4 of Hebrew language support). This not only
gives a Hebrew font but also support for right to left typing, etc.
