To all of you engineering types...from a future engineer...

I have an old Compaq Portable computer that is crammed
with add-in cards! I need to add more. I am thinking maybe
I can just buy ribbon cable and run it to an external board
that has more expansion slots.

I know that I will need to add a new power supply
somewhere. Questions:

		- Can I actually simply wire more expansion
		  slots to the original set?
		- If so, how and where do I connect the second
power supply (i.e. how do I wire it to the
extended portion of the I/O channel)

Any help I can get is welcome! Please E-mail any responses
as I am a student and have little time to check hundreds of messages
on this news net. Thanks alot!

Help - I am in need of finding a source of 6.6 meg disks for the
Kodak 5.25" 6.6 meg subsystem. The local store here is asking $15.00 a
disk which is a bit much. I called Verbatim but they seem to be out to
lunch everytime I call.

Please email an address or phone # where I can purchase more disks for
this beast at $8-11.00 range. Thanks

-Mike

I've noticed lately that my IBM 8513-001 monitor has been wavering ...
the display will sometimes fade and brighten. It doesn't do this too
often but it is enough to get me concerned. Has anyone experience a
similar problem or should I just let it ride?
