I have a 250R drive in my XT. When I bought the drive locally, the ads did say XT only, don't know what the specific reasons are, but they shouldn't have sold that drive for your machine. As for the lost 10Mb, have you checked for a D: drive? MS-DOS up to 3.3 will only allow partitions up to 32Mb, hence the need for the D specification. Spinrite will definitely help that drive, it did on mine. David L. Mather -- AT&T Network Systems -- Dept: NAOC307730 +---------------------------------------------------------+ | MAIL: P. O.
