      A UNIX text file has each lines ended with a line feed rather that a CR 
as in DOS.  Many public domain programs have manuals that are written in this
format, and thus are very hard to read.  I have written a small public domain
program that modifies these files by converting LF's into CR's.   It supports
wildcards and multiple file lists. yone wwants a cts a copy can request it
via E-Mail.

Jochen, I would very much like to get ahold of such a utility.  How many
times have I had to deal with this problem????  Eeek.
