I've been given a Princeton Graphics SR-12P monitor for free. The only problem is that it is a PGA monitor. I checked the specs, and the freq. seems fine to use with VGA, but PGA used separate H and V sync, where I understand VGA uses a combined sync. Since I'm not a hardware hacker (at least not analog), is there a simple way to adapt the monitor to handle combined sync, a VGA board to generate separate sync (I presume that graphics boards generate two separate syncs and then combined them before the connector), or a VGA board available that also works with older PGA monitors?
