Hi there,
I'm going to write a business software package for my friend's
restaurant, and I really don't know where to look for a computer system
which has a cash register built-in, a printer (for recipt), a bar code
reader. And these hardware stuffs must be compatible with either
Clipper or dbaseIII+ so I could access or enter data. I knew one company
which sells all of those stuffs above but... I have to buy the business
software package from them to access those hardwares (of courses, it is
not Clipper or dbase language).
Do you have any ideas ? I appreciate all your help and your info.
Thanks,

You will find advertisements for cash drawers, receipt printers, and bar code readers in the back of PC-WEEK magazine and also in the Computer Shopper magazine. The Computer Shopper has many more adds than PC-WEEK so I would suggest that you try there first. You will find quite a few bargains in this monthly journal. Good luck... -Chris
