Hi comp.sys.ibm.pc'ers! My brother is considering buying a PC in the near future, and was thinking of buying one from the Gateway company. He is thinking of a high-end '286 or '386 machine. I would like to gather some information about this company and their products. Specifically: Are the machines well put-together and robust? Is the dealer good with customer support (warranties etc.) Are there other dealers who have as good or better machines for about the same proce? Anything else that comes to mind? I will summarize the responses that I get, and mail the summary for the benefit of the others.
