Yep, I saw "The Stewardesses" in 3D back in about 1970. It was the first 3D movie I had ever seen (and the first X rated movie). Since then I have seen "Dial M for Murder" and "House of Wax" in 3D. These are the only color movies I have seen in polarized 3D. "Kiss me Kate" was also done this way, but I have not seen it. Does anybody know of any other polarized 3D movies in color? A local theater has also shown a number of the 3D horror movies (including 2 Three Stooges shorts) with polarized light, and the effect is much better than that of the red-blue technique. I seem to remember a movie a few years ago starring everyone's favorite porn star, John Holmes. I only saw the advertisement, of course, but it was billed as 'starring Johnny Holmes and the Lollipop Girls in Hard Candy', and it was 3D. Anyone else out there willing to confess to knowing about this film? Has anyone seen it? There were some really suggestive lines in the ad (comments about how things 'leaped out of the screen at you' and the like). Doug Burton Bell Labs, IN inuxc!burton Another polarized 3-D movie was Andy Warhol's Frankenstein. This movie had couple of neat effects (like bats coming at you and a scene filmed through a fish tank where the fishes swim right in front of you), and a few really disgusting parts (like guts hanging on the end of a pole right in front of your face). At least though, it was not like the smut my roommate is trying to promote ("Hard Candy"... you bet. JEEEZZZZ). Dan Vanevic Bell Labs, IN inuxc!rael P.S.: Comin at ya.
