Note that I just read the news that area code 312 changed to 708 in November, and either one reaches my folks these days. Be sure to note the change, in case 312 support is dropped soon. I keep meaning to dial them up, but life has been hectic with my own four daughters :) :) My wife wrote a couple of EGA-color games for our XT Zenith clone that teach pattern matching and arithmetic. Our kids (well, the 4 and 7 year olds) love 'em. Let me know if you're interested, and I'll see if she'd like to distribute them. We're certainly not planning any commercial distribution at this point, they were just learning processes for Cathy and now for the kids! Apple does tend to corner this market, but there *are* alternatives!!
