[comp.sys.ibm.pc] Ventura Question???

kluksdah@hpspcoi.HP.COM (Keith Kluksdahl) (12/19/89)

I've been learning Ventura Publisher. I set up a couple of pages
of graphics and text. The problem is when I print the thing, two
of the graphics come up blank, even though they show up on the
screen. I've tried deleting the frame and then inserting a new
frame. Nothing I try seems to work. Any help out there???

Re: Ventura printing problem

If the graphics don't come out on the printer, have you investigated the
idea that your printer has insufficient memory?

One way to verify this is to print at a cruder resolution (say 150dpi)
rather than 300dpi. If it prints "better", then you've identified
the need for more memory, or simpler page content.
