Can someone send me information on YTERM, a terminal
emulator for IBM mainframes? Specifically, how do you
contact for buy it (if it costs something)?
Thanks.

YTERM was written at Yale University. I do not know exactly how you would go about getting it, but any person affiliated with PSU (students, faculty, staff etc) can get a copy free by signing a end-user license. However, the IBM host must also support YTERM for it to fully function. It can emulate a VT100, but if the host does not have the complimentary software, you wont be able to do much with it. Here is an address you can try for some information: Yale University Computer Center 175 Whitney Av PO BOX 2112 Yale Station New Haven, CT 06520-2112 ATTN: Software Distribution (That's straight from the YTERM User's guide) I hope this gets you going. ------- --------------------------------------------------------------------------- | OOO | | | O O SSS | Why do today what's due tomorrow? | | O O PPP U U S | | | O O P P U U SSS | Hey...sounds good to me! =-) | | O O PPP U U S | | | OOO P UUU SSSS | KDM101@PSUVM O04@PSUVM | | P | KXM@PSUARCH kdm101@psusun01 | --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Why should I want to disclaim anything???
