I am thinking of starting to use Windows (386), but since I use communications programs extensively (to communicate with Unix and VMS machines), I would like to know if there are any such programs which work well with Windows386. The ones that I have heard of are Crosstalk, Winqvt, TwinTalk and UniComm. Does anyone know if there will soon be a Windows version of ProComm? I have tried Winqvt, but found the screen font almost unreadable (in VGA) and the Kermit download painfully slow. I downloaded a trial version of TwinTalk but the install program choked (annoying after paying all the long distance charges....).
