Could somebody reccomend a good reference book for the Pc's. It should cover : DIfferent PC architectures, Including 80386, MCA and EISA. Floppy Drives, Controllers, Video Cards, I/O Poprts : Diagnostics and standard pinouts. Hard Disks ESDI, SCSI, etc. And Everything else that would make me understand the inards of IBM PC Clones downto the board level - jumper/dip switch settings on standard boards. Ways to diagnose what is working and what isn't without having to swap boards. If I get enough responses I'll summarize. I've seen a few at the book store, but none seemed recent/broad enough.
