Has it ever occurred to anyone that if O&G were the story of the woman cadet's (Siegler?) involvement with a MAN in the paper mill, the movie probably would have been considered a lot less romantic. It would take a Tracy-Hepburn scenario to pull off something like that, and there ain't hardly no more of them around anymore with that kind of taste and sensitivity. Yes, boys and girls, there really IS a double standard, even yet. ljs
