In response to a request for Garp reviews: I saw it about a month ago. It wasn't at all what I had expected going on the TV ads and the fact that Robin Williams was in the cast. It wasn't far out comedy (like Mork & Mindy), rather it turned out to be very serious comedy. It is a movie full of outrageous circumstances, which are used to get very real situations across pointedly. I enjoyed it very much in retrospect. Some very memorable characters, and lots to hash over about it with wife and friends. Ralph.
