Does anyone know of a program which will boot drive D? I thought that it should be possible to write a small program which loads a couple of registers and then calls the BIOS boot routine. This program could then be installed on the boot track of a floppy. Then, whenever I wanted to boot drive D instead of drive C, I would just put this disk in the drive and reboot the system. Has this been done before? If not, does anyone see any reason why it should or should not work? Finally, if I end up writing this, any pointers? (I mainly use UNIX on my PCs and am installing a different flavor of UNIX on the second drive for test/development reasons. I need to boot this OS on occassion, but not always, and changing the cabling configuration/CMOS to swap the drives does not appeal to me.) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- William Curtiss 407/984-6383 | "The only good martyr Harris GISD, Melbourne, FL 32902 | is a dead martyr."
