[comp.sys.ibm.pc] 4DOS with DESQview on a 286, anyone?

4DOS sounds like a good replacement for COMMAND.COM for single user
systems. Can anyone even think of why one would want to use it with
DESQview, since DESQview handles memory completely and the advantage of
4DOS may not be recognized?

Well, I use both and the big advantage is that when I work in a dos shell
system, I can still use aliases and the command line advantages of
4DOS. I suppose there would be other advantages though...

Although 4DOS does take more memory away from Desqview than 3.3 DOS, its
still less than dos 4.0.
