Definitely not for the week of heart, but aside from a few genuine scares, Halloween III: Season of the Witch is not all that great. The plot development is poor if there at all; it's one of those nice "kill them all" type movies. The parts intended to be frightening were either extremely gory or just the "sneak up from behind" kind of thing; they did do some nice things with ripping apart skulls though! As for the tarantula crawling out of the skull in the commercial being the least scary part of the movie, don't believe it; the biggie is the same thing only in mass quantities. It's OK if you like to see someone's head get ripped off, but if you're looking forward to a good movie, you may as well walk out after the previews.
