Having been part of USENET for the last four years and seeing that the net is a tremendous resource I have decided to seek some information from the collective wisdom of the net users. As a result of eye problems I need information concerning large screen, high resolution monitors for use with a Zenith 241 AT running Dos 3.1 I have a variety of programs that I use almost daily, for example: Lotus products (Manuscript 2.1, 123 2.01, Freelance 3.0, Graphwriter 2, Agenda 1.1, Magellan, etc.) CADKEY 3.1 (This supports a variety of cards at resolutions up to 1280 by 1024) Windows 286 Dbase IV Drafix Word Perfect 5.0 Turbo C 2.0 and a ethernet connection to a Vax 785 running Ultrix 32 version ?? (newly upgraded) I will probably be running in mono mode almost exclusively but the medical advice that I have received tends to favour a very large monitor with as high a resolution as possible and with a high contrast and luminance (I am not sure if this is what I mean). Thus, if you have any technical info, comments, or suggestions please feel free to send me some email.
