Does anyone make a VGA/SVGA compatible (or even multi-sync) monitor with a screen size in the range of 16 to 17 inches? I'd like to cut some cost over the larger monitors since I find 19 inches to be a bit large, but 14 inches is just tad bit too small for my liking. --Phil Howard, KA9WGN-- <phil@ux1.cso.uiuc.edu>

Mitsubishi Diamond Scan 16L. Sony GDM-1605. Princeton Ultra-16. HP D1188A. These are all 16". Be prepared to pay about $1,000 or more. Also be aware that a number of Taiwanese will be offering 19 or 20" color monitors. Tatung, Sampo, and Voltron. I predict prices around $1,200 or so, much less than the NEC 5D's $2,200. -- Phil Ngai, phil@diablo.amd.com {uunet, decwrl, ucbvax}!amdcad!phil Peace through strength.
