For a long time I've been under the impression that there was a correlation between hard disk speed and capacity - i.e. the greater the capacity the faster the hard disk. Specifically, I'm using a PS/2 Model 70 with IBM's standard 60 Meg drive, and I think that moving to a 120 Meg drive would result in faster compiles, etc. Is this true? (speaking about IBM equipment, everything else being equal) Does anyone have a feel for the % improvement (10, 20, 30?). Ballpark estimates would be helpful as well as references to published benchmarks. Since I work for a "Blue" shop I'm mainly interested in IBM-supplied drives. Thanks in advance. Susan Price-Smith
