F O R S A L E While I know many of you are not not enamoured with Tandy products, I am offering the following system for sale. I have owned this system for three years, and have never had a bit of trouble with it. Only reason that I'm selling it is to move up to a 386 system. COMPONENT ORIGINAL RET. PRICE Tandy 1000A w/1 360K floppy drive $1199.00 Second 360K floppy drive 159.00 Tandy PLUS memory Expansion card w/512Kb RAM 299.00 Tandy RS232 PLUS expansion card 99.00 Tandy CM-2 Hi-Res color Monitor 459.00 Tandy 20Mb Hard Disk on a card 799.00 Exec-PC speed up kit (7/9.9Mhz) 199.00 SmartClock clock/calendar chip 49.95 Intel 8087-2 Math Co-processor 129.95 Keyboard extension cord 9.95 Multitech 300/1200 external modem 149.95 ---------- $3552.80 In addition, I hace installev a volume control on the speaker. I have the receipts and manual for almost all of the equipment, and will ship them with it. I also have all the original Tandy manuals that came with the system (including the Deskmate books and software), as well as the Technical Reference Manual for the original 1000 and the 1000A update, the Programmers reference manual, both the DOS and BASIC reference manual (for both DOS 2.1 and 3.2). The system comes with DOS 3.2and newest version of the ROM BIOS (1.1). I also have a little bit of software that I'd be willing to let go with it, which I no longer use. I am asking $1500 for the system, but will entertain reasonable offers. I realize that you can get brand new systems for not much more these days, but fell that my asking price is reasonble. (PLEASE--no flames about Tandy products or the prices I paid. I bought the equipment a few years ago when everything was still relatively expensive) Bob Boulanger bobb@elrond.calcomp.com Lockheed CalComp Hudson, NH 03051 (603)885-8072 (8-5 EST) -- Bob Boulanger bobb@elrond.calcomp.com Lockheed CalComp Hudson, NH 03051
