I am interested in setting up a bullitin board at our company and I am looking for some recommendations from those of you with experiences both good and bad with bullitin boards. The requirements of this bullitin board are: Runs on PC XT or AT or equivalent Ability to have multiple modems (1-4) at speeds up to 19200 Ability to have a database that can be search (ie product tips and techniques, solutions to specific problems etc.) Ability to download/upload software, source code, text files, binary files (not necessarily binaries for PC's) A forum for asking questions based on a selected topic Mail facility Tracking facility of user calls Password security This is a rough outline of the requirements. I would appreciate any input and recommendations on setting up this bullitin board. Where do I get bullitin board software? How much is it? How much operator maintenance is required?
