[comp.sys.ibm.pc] Chemical structure drawing on PC

msewil@uncecs.edu (Charles R. Ward) (01/17/90)

Does anyone know of a chemical structures drawing program similar
to ChemDraw (MacIntosh) that runs on MS-DOS hardware? I have seen
references to a package called ChemWindow from SoftShell International,
but I can't find an address for the company. This is supposed to be
a structure drawing program that runs under Windows (I use Windows/386).
The package should be able to save files in TIFF, PCX, and HPGL. It
should also include predrawn structures as templates. I would
appreciate any help anyone can give me on this.

Such a program is available via ftp from SIMTEL (26.2.0.74) in:
PD1:<MSDOS.EDUCATION>CHEMICAL.ARC
Its description is "A molucular modeling program for CGA or EGA"
Hope this helps!
