Hello, Can anybody tell me if it is possible to use Macintosh PICT files (about MacDraw II format) on an MS-DOS PC ? Ideal would be if it is possible to edit these pictures and then send them back to the Mac, but if this is impossible, it would be sufficient to be able to read these pictures into a DTP package. I heard that Ventura has a function to read in these pictures. Is it possible that Ventura converts the pics to another format that can be used by graphics editors on the PC? Please help ... Ventura converts the orginal MacDraw PICT format to GEM .IMG format (used by GemDraw). Some detail can get lost in the translation, because GemDraw doesn't support everything available in MacDraw (e.g., fonts & fill patterns.) Ventura cannot import/convert MacDraw II PICT format, as far as I know. I believe there are PC graphics translations programs that can convert MacDraw II PICT files (perhaps HiJaak?), but I don't know for sure.
