Sorry if this has been talked about in the past, but can any of you please
reference some good books on programming the VGA and programming graphics in
general? Please reply direct, i'll post a summary. Thank you in advance.

1). _Programmer's Guide to PC & PS/2 Video Systems_ by Richard Wilton
    Microsoft Press

2). _Programmer's Guide to the EGA and VGA cards_ by Richard F. Ferraro

    Read the one by Wilton first to get a better overall understanding.
    The book by Ferraro is more detailed and harder to read (info is
    scattered everywhere).  However, it has a lot of information in
    very good detail.
