Hi! I currently own an RGB color monitor(TTL) whose horizontal scanning rate is about 24KHz (fixed frequency) and is cabable of handling non-interlaced 640x400 resolution. And I am planning to build up an IBM AT compatible system. So it would be great if I can use this monitor on that system. So I am looking for a CRT controller card for IBM PC compatibles that can handle this monitor. I am not familiar with CGA, EGA, VGA, or PGA, so I wonder if any of these supports the monitor. I do not care about the screen immediately after boot up if the display mode can be set to use this monitor after then. Could any of you answer my question? Any comments or pointers would be helpful. Please e-mail your responses. Thank you in advance. ---Soohong -- =================== soohong@psuvax1.cs.psu.edu soohong@psuvax1.bitnet UUCP: psuvax1!soohong USPS: 333 Whitmore lab, University Park, PA 16802 phone:(814)234-0938
