Does any one know how to tell norton 4.5 that your b drive is a 1.44 drive, this is in reguard to the format command that comes with norton, it thinks that my b drive is a 1.2 and won't format my 1.44 floppies. It supports 160K and 180K drives which are almost dead. the other question I have, is the miniscribe 3650 compatible with the wd-gen card, when i use the two i get a error 80 (timed out) message. thanks in advance for all your help jigish

The workaround for your B: problem is to use XXFORMAT B: This will format your disk correctly at 1.44 MB. I called Norton Computing about this problem around June 1989 and it looks like they still have not fixed it. Ypu might give them a call. If enough people complain they will probably issue a maintenance release to correct the problem. Good luck.
