[comp.sys.ibm.pc] ON-BOARD LIM4.0

I have a DTK 12MHz '286 motherboard that uses the C&T NEAT chipset.
The board supports up to 8 MEG of memory that can be extended or
(supposedly) LIM 4.0 expanded. When my applications use the expanded
memory I get an intermittant but regular parity error notification.
If the memory is configured as extended, it has never failed diagnostic
diagnostics. The parity error occurs at zero or one wait state,
and the memory passes Borland's "emstest" program included with
QUATTRO pro. I've never actually seen a data error in my
applications, and I can redirect the NMI interrupt to an immediate
IRET, but that doesn't give me a good feeling. I really think the
memory is OK (I've swapped some to no effect), and think it may be
the driver. Does anyone else who has a NEAT-based board have this
	problem, or some insight ?
