[comp.sys.ibm.pc] Serial Microsoft Mouse and Desqview

The opening and closing of windows in Desqview are slower when I use a 
serial Microsoft mouse.  When I hit the ALT key to display the Desqview
menu, it takes about a second to appear.  The same operation with a
Microsoft bus mouse is instantaneous.  Any suggestions?
