[comp.sys.ibm.pc] WD 1006 RLL with Micropolis 71Mb 1325 drive?

Has anyone used this controller with this drive? I got this drive std.
with my AST Premium/286 in 1987. 

Is the WD1006 a track-cacheing controller?
