[comp.sys.ibm.pc] Using Expanded Memory with 123 and ALLWAYS

infotech@rupert.misemi (Mike Sullivan) (02/13/90)

Has anyone had any problems using 123 ver 2.2 and Allways, in regards
to the use of Expanded (LIMS) memory? I can get 123 to load both the current
spreadsheet and the Allways add-in into both conventional and exp. memory, but
when I try to print it with Allways, I get an "out of memory" error while it
attempts to load the soft fonts. This occurs even tho' I have 255 k of exp.
memory left to play around with... A call to Lotus confirmed my suspicion:
The Allways add-in loads its soft fonts into conventional memory only, and
there is no way to force it to do otherwise.

Is there any way to kludge this to work, or for that matter, load either
the add-in or spreadsheet _entirely_ into exp. memory? That would leave the
conventional memory for the soft fonts...

	Email or post, your preference...
	Thanks in advance...
