G'day mates! Has anyone ran into any problems running DoubleDos by SOFTLOGIC SOLUTIONS? It installs fine, but when I ran the program, I got the partition selection screen, I selected 1/2 & 1/2 partition, and it does a COMPLETE system crash on my AT clone. I had to use the ruddy power switch to reboot, ACK! I've got a APCO 286 AT, 10Mhz, MSDOS 3.3, Phoenix BIOS V3.06 release V1.0A, and DoubleDos V4.0. I don't want to have to call Manchester, NH if I can help it to get Customer Support!!!!! Thanks for any help! -- Corey Wirun Dept. of CPSC (wirun@calgary.UUCP) U of Calgary. I am having a problem with DoubleDos. I have 2 partitions: one 325k and one at 204k. The 204k partition usually works fine, even for big programs.. The problem exists for small programs, or even DOS commands. When I try to TYPE a file, the file types, then the system locks with a Memory Allocation error: System Halted. When I use certain (very small) programs (and these are not the same, it has happened with about 15 programs), I get a CANNOT LOAD command" error. In both cases, there is plenty of memory for the application, and in the second case, I even tryed reseting Comspec to a different Command.com then the other partition is using. These errors occur even when there is nothing running in the other partition. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for the help. Kevin Dunn A frustrated CompE, wanna be SYSOP
