Why not make your IBM work like a Mac? The Mac does some things faster and better. In the same context, why not make your Mac work like an IBM? The IBM does some things better and faster. Neither machine is an end-all to microcomputing and anyone who thinks so is lying to themselves because they just paid several thousand dollars for the hottest machine of today - one which will be obsolete in under two years. Slamming on the graphical interface is foolish, equally as foolish as slamming on the batch file capabilities of DOS machines. I consult on both machines and recommend whichever one fits the needs of the client. -- Adam C.
