Last November I purchased a Packard Bell Legend V 286. In early,
January the machine died with a "keyboard failure, keyboard data line
failure". A new motherboard seemed to solve the problem. Now, about a
month later, the same thing has happened.
First, anybody know what a "keyboard failure, keyboard data line failure"
>really< means, and why. This also seems to be more than a co-incidence,
to have this problem on two difference motherboards within a few months
time.
If it's any help, they (PB) also seem to be having a problem with their
PS/2 mouse port (consistenly) recognizing any mouse but the logitech.
The PS/2 port is next to they keyboard data line port.
